Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East, a part of Germany-based industrial services group Bilfinger, has been awarded a more than $2.8 million (€2.5 million) contract by Arabian Chemical Terminals (ACT) to provide Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for a bulk liquid storage terminal in Khalifa Port near KIZAD, Abu Dhabi.

Saudi Arabia-based ACT is a top distributor of bulk liquid products within the GCC region and had also set up the kingdom's first ever-commercial liquid chemical bulk storage terminal.

Albert Vollema, Project Director of Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East said the greenfield facility is a strategic project that would enhance ACT's handling and distribution capabilities in liquid bulk products and gases.
